Where/What is Pekonochi?

Pekonochi is the home planet of the Oninichi and where everyone lives on. Yes, humas are there, so consider it like an alternate Earth-like planet 8D


What is an Oninichi?

An oninichi is a human chibi that takes on the personality and features of either an animal, a fantasy creature, an appliance, a fruit or veggie, a utensil, etc. For example: a lion, a watermelon, or a kappa. Each of these unique individuals have equally unique names. Whatever the animal or inanimate object the chibi is based on, will end it's name with a -chi. So for a Lion oninichi, it's name will become Leochi. For a Watermelon oninichi, it will become Melchi....and so on.


How can Oninichi be catched?

The Oninichi can be catched by fighting them with either other Oninichi, or by yourself. Once the Oninichi has fainted it turns into an oniperl. When a period of time has passed after capture, the captured Oninichi carries the oniperl around it's neck indicating it belongs to you. Once the oninichi is officially yours, you can dress them however you like 8D The pearl also lets you know which Oninichi have already been captured and belong to other people.


Do oninichi evolve? oO;

Yes actually they do! But only from baby stage, to what you normally see all the time. For example. A tomato goes from a seed, to a small plant then to a tomato, right? Well, the same would be for a Tomachi. A seed, then small tomato plant-like, then Tomachi Actually, it would be the same for an animal too, except they don't start as seeds ^__^; Example: baby leo cub=> grown leo cub=> Leochi!


Can i create my own design of an Oninichi that has already been made?

No. All Oninichi are individual. If there's already one created, that's the only design it will stay in. Also, there can only be one of each. Meaning, The Leochi, will be the ONLY leochi in the entire world. This makes it much more difficult, and much more creative to design an ORIGINAL Oninichi. So keep your eyes peeled for designs that have yet to be made!!! 8D Japanese names are also accepted, as long as they end in chi~! <3 XD

Okay....so what oninichi bases have already been used?

What if I make an Oninichi, but someone else makes the same one only different?

If there's two or more Oninichi that are of the same base, we (the admins) will choose which design out of them all is the best. Sorry guys. They all have to be 100% Unique!

Are there Male and Female Oninichi?

Yup. And each look differently too, so maybe that can settle a few design qualms for everyone ne? =3


Can I name my own Oninichi?

What a silly question! Of course! xD You captured them! You get the right to name them whatever you want! Right Mr. Puffalupagus? <_< >_> XD


If I'm travelling, and I wanna take my oninichi with me, do they just follow me around?

Actually, the Oniperl around each oninichi's neck becomes a very convenient carry case for each one. Unfortunately, because of the pearl's size, you can only carry 3 in the perlbag meant for them. So you can carry them around, just not all the ones you have~!


If I'm far from home, but I want to change my oninichi that I'm carrying with one I've caught before, how do I do that?

The oniperl is more than just letting you know which Oninichi have been caught, its also a handy dandy transport device that can allow you to switch between the current oninichi at hand and any of the oninichi you have in the Oninichi Daycare. But be careful! You can only have ONE change PER DAY, since it takes alot of the oniperl's transfer energy to switch between two oninichi already.


What is an Oninichi Daycare?

That's where all your captured Oninichi stay when you're at your 3 oninichi carry limit. It also kind of acts like a little school for the little fellas while you're away unable to teach them yourself.


Is there such a thing as a rare oninichi?

Yes actually~! The rare oninichi are the ones that are based off endangered spieces or extinct animals. But lets try not to over do it okay guys? They're called RARE for a reason! xDD


What happens if there aren't any more bases to use?

If the case may be, that everything has already been used, what will happen is that we will open up the mixed bases. Basically what will happen is that you can pick two or more of the bases that have already been made, and turn them (somehow) into one Oninichi. But ONLY when we've run out of bases. We will post a journal eventually, once the mixes are starting to open~!
